One of our greatest priorities is ensuring that all our students arrive safely to school every day. To improve our safe arrival process, March 31/25, we will add a new system that will make it easier for you to report – and respond to – school absences of your student. Good attendance is necessary for proper progress in school.  Our students are expected to attend school every day, unless prevented by personal illness or family emergency.  Vacations during the school year may not always be ideal; however; more often than not, they offer learning opportunities for children that they will not receive in a school setting.  We would ask that the school be made aware of theses vacations in advance for attendance purposes and to allow for some discussion with the classroom teacher regarding missed work from the grade curriculum.

The new student absence reporting system will let you use a mobile app, a website, or an interactive toll-free phone line to report an absence in advance as well as that day. This procedure is followed to ensure the safety of your child.  Your cooperation saves numerous daily phone calls by the school.  An information letter has been emailed.  Please check your emails.

Students who arrive after the bell in the morning, should report directly to the office for an admit slip and then proceed to class
